Laurie is a Georgia-based fine artist, known for bright expressions of color in her abstract and contemporary paintings of seascapes and landscapes. Her love of the ocean and birds is her main focus but she dabbles in many subject matters to keep her creative juices flowing and to alleviate boredom.

Laurie has studied oil and acrylic painting with professional artists and through workshops.  She enjoys painting many different subjects but has a fond connection with painting water and boats.  She paints in her home studio in Atlanta.

Outside of work, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, two adult children, and a golden retriever.
